Semester: Summer, 2011 Description: As a requirement by the State of Michigan, this class allowed me to further identify and assist with student having difficulties with reading and writing. This course was based on investigations of developmental processes, instructional practices, and assessment principles that contribute to effective learning of reading and writing. Discussions and practices of alternative teaching methods for accommodating the different needs of individual literacy learners also examined. Extensive discussion forums used to investigate course material between peers. |
