Psychology of Learning in School and Other SettingsInstructor: Mural, Roseth
Semester: Fall, 2011 Description: The encompassing idea of this course is that learning, and in itself instruction, is an active, socially-mediated construction of knowledge. The material presented in this class allowed the learners to explore the essence of instruction in many different settings, including school, home, community and work. At the same time, we were also invited to explore the different aspects of learning as well. Such as what is learned, how it is taught and consequently learned, and what the learners bring to the setting. We used extensive use of audio and video podcasting to present material to our peers and our instructors. There was also extensive use of discussion forums between our peers to further investigate course material and to enhance our learning during the semester. Favorite Web 2.0 Applications:
